Dirk Jörke

Dirk Jörke is Professor of Political Theory and the History of Ideas at the University of Darmstadt, whose main areas of research are democratic theory, history of political thought (particularly the 18th and 19th centuries), and American pragmatism. Among numerous publications, he is co-author (with Jared Sonnicksen) of “Towards an Antifederalist Theory of the EU” and author of Die Größe der Demokratie (Suhrkamp. 2019).
